Frans is nog zo’n CCO-er die er al sinds het allereerste optreden bij is en sindsdien eigenlijk nooit meer eentje heeft gemist:

“Ik speel al mijn hele leven muziek, al sinds mijn 10e jaar. Ik kan eigenlijk gewoon niet stoppen. Na mijn pensioen is de muziek eigenlijk alleen maar nog belangrijker geworden in mijn leven. Als saxofonist bij orkest De Tegenwind ben ik erg geboeid geraakt om met muzikanten en muziek uit andere culturen te spelen. Vanuit dat orkest is CCO ontstaan, waarin ik dat dus wekelijks kan en mag doen.”
